Celebrating Womanhood with Hemalayaa Behl

Come enjoy a retreat in beautiful Ojai, the magical secluded valley at the foot of the Topa Topa Mountains, led by Hemalayaa. Come replenish and sooth your soul with a weekend of yoga, dance, meditation and good company. The retreat is an opportunity for women to embrace their beautiful and sacred nature. We'll do this through Indian dance, gentle yoga, tantric breathing techniques and we will learn rituals of reverence (chants and meditation practices honoring the feminine.) Guiding us to rest in the heart -- our center of love, courage and unbounded creativity. This retreat will replenish our passion for life, sense of womanhood and connection with community.

Yoga teacher and Indian dancer, Hemalayaa has a gift for inspiring even the shyest of participants to own and express their beauty, sacredness and femininity. No matter your physical shape or body type, the playful dances and rituals Hema teaches will stir and nurture your passion, exuberance and sense of play. A hallmark of Hema's workshop is laughter, her own and that of the participants.

This retreat will be held at Calliote Canyon~ a stunning, one of a kind property perfect for this gathering. Located just ten minutes from the lovely town of Ojai and only 1-1/2 hours north of Los Angeles, Calliote Canyon provides both total privacy from the outside world and easy access to restaurants, art galleries, beaches and more. Calliote Canyon is situated in a natural “bowl” created by surrounding mountains and foothills, Calliote Canyon offers a 360 degree, uninterrupted view of the natural world. An abundance of sun-dappled foliage and peaceful pathways, ancient boulders, and a pure, mountain-fed creek and waterfall complete the natural splendor.

The retreat runs from 5:30 pm on Friday, April 2nd - 12 pm on Sunday April 4th and includes:

- Two gentle, yet powerful, 90-minute yoga
and movement classes.
- Pranayama, cleansing, yoga breathing exercises.
- Kama Sutra Dance journey ~ a 3 hour sacred journey (yoga, dance, meditation, mantra, a fun!)
- Meditation & Ceremony in the river
- Sumptuous organic vegetarian meals.
- Personal time to rest, journal or stroll through
picturesque Ojai.
